We're located in the heart of Flushing, Queens. "ABC Dental" is a private practice that provides full service dentistry. Dr. Vivian Chan and Dr. F. Hooshi perform a wide range of family, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Between the two doctors, their accolades include: nomination as one of "America's Top Dentists" (2005-2011) by the Consumer Research Council, membership and leadership positions in prestigious associations including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry and other local organizations. Dr. Chan was nominated into Cambridge's "Who's Who Among Dental Professional Women". Dr. Hooshi has lectured and has leadership positions in various organizations. Dr. Chan and Dr. Hooshi's office is state-of-the-art in comfort and technology. Several years ago, it was one of the first in the area to use digital radiographs, reducing radiation up to 90%. Each dental chair operatory is equipped with radio/television/video and computerized imaging station. They perform a an extensive range of dental services which include Zoom 2 whitening (as seen in ABC's "Extreme Makeover"), one visit (45 min) root canal therapy using digital and thermaphilic technology, cosmetic porcelain veneers, metal free fillings, Valplast metal free dentures and Invisalign "invisible" braces. "ABC Dental" uses thorough sterilization techniques and the latest in autoclave technology. Their office is designed for optimal cleanliness and comfort. Their children patients actually look forward to their dental visits as they are distracted by their favorite cartoons and rewarded for good behavior with diplomas and toys. With four children of their own ranging from age 3 to 8, you could say they are very comfortable treating children. Doctors Chan and Hooshi have extensive training to manage patients with special needs. They are comfortable treating infant patients, medically or developmentally compromised patients, and extremely phobic individuals. Each patient who walks into their office is considered "family".
