Spring 2018; Thanks to EDS at 36, I need a plan bc my remaining 16 teeth look & feel awful. I'm hoping to have the teeth pulled to get perm. dentures.

Dr Dara Nikoonezhad says he can save whats left- covering them all with crowns. No insurance; $8200 will include all the crowns & two bridges (on the rt side since #28 & #5 are missing).

I warn him how hard I am to numb & how I have ALWAYS required a lot of local anestetic & that I've had some very traumatic experiences with dentists (like a broken jaw when my wisdom teeth were pulled).

My first 4 top front teeth are EXCRUTATINGLY PAINFUL. He's nervous about using "too much" local. I'm in excrutating pain & near tears the entire time he's working on me. Its clear he has no idea what he's doing w/ the temporary crowns.

I have photos of every awful, brittle, misshapen, improperly cured (sticky) yellowed, awful-looking temp crown he made & sent me home wearing. Most broke in under 24 hrs. By the time he's making these temps, I'm hours into appts in extreme pain - my nerves so raw I can't take any more. The perm crowns came back looking decent so I'll endure the rest of this pure hell just to get to the end -after all, I only have *15* teeth to do; I'll just suffer.

12 rounds of horrible, painful work.. we're FINALLY.. nearing the end. The first time he attempts to touch #27, I'm in EXCRUCIATING pain. He says the nerve is "visible through the top of what's left of the tooth"- yet he NEVER says "Gee, maybe this tooth isn't a good candidate to be covered by a crown supporting a bridge" Nope; he ignored my complaints of severe pain & pushes ahead.

The bridge goes on. The day after, I spike a 104 fever w/ SEVERE tonsillitis. For 2 weeks I suffer w/ a severe sore throat & a bite so lopsided and painful, I can barely close my mouth. *3* more appts, each worse than the last; My mouth is full of excrutating ulcers from dozens of shots...he's drilling holes in my gums (w/ no effect)- he sends me home in agony, trying 2 more days in a row. I can't eat, drink or breathe w/out EXTREME pain. Endless Advil; my intestines are bleeding.

3 days in a row & dozens of shots of novacaine did NOTHING - I'm sent to an oral surgeon to pull #26. $1200 MORE- #26 is gone.

Back at Dr Dara; A "final" visit- take off the temp, make a mold, temp back on, in 2 weeks, I get the last perm crowns & done; Right?

WRONG.

This appointment with Dr Dara- at one point, he drives the needle into my gums & it's so painful I come up off the chair- my body goes ICE COLD, like a LIGHTENING BOLT through my body, the pain is like nothing I've felt in my life. I break into a cold sweat, feel like Im going to pass out, i can't even speak. I'm done.

We've tried 5 TIMES to numb this area with NO LUCK, I *insist* on going to someone who can knock me out while they do the root canal. Dr Dara has "no suggestions" so I'm left to call around...

Dr Reisman at Voorhees Dental Arts, can knock me out & do the root canal. Throbbing in agony for *3WEEKS*,
Dr Reisman is horrified, says it's INFECTED. He calls Dr Dara "an incompetant moron" & warns me the crown "might be ruined" & "the bridge will no longer fit; But you can blame your dentist for that, he never should have put a crown on an infected tooth."

That's $4000 in oral surgery (2 diff surgeons) in one month- *and* $1400 of Dr Dara's work ruined; bc he went on ignoring severe pain until I absolutely demanded i couldn't take any more.

These f'n dentists left me in horrible pain after $7200+ at Voorhees Comprehensive +$4000 in oral surgery & my mouth looks & feels AWFUL.

Horrendous service. I had a filling which was rushed and was not done properly. I needed 3 separate bite adjustments to ease the pain from the high spot on the dodgy filling. These bite adjustments did not ease the pain and essentially ground the tooth to the nerve. I went from a perfectly healthy set of teeth to agonizing pain and an inability to eat, drink, or talk without pain.
The receptionists and secretaries are fine and it is easy to get appointments however the appointment is with a dentist who cripples every tooth he touches
