We went to this dentist office for a while. The dentists and staff are nice and seem qualified but their billing is a nightmare. We have excellent insurance that covers 80% of basically all regular dental procedures. The dentist I go to now tells me exactly how much it will be and we pay before the procedure. At Milford they always blamed their "system" and they didn't know how much it would be- once my daughter went back for a cavity. At the end the girl tells me I owe close to $500. I said she was only back there 15 minutes and our insurance pays 80%!!!! That would mean the procedure costs $2500 for 15 minutes for a regular cavity! The lady said oh there were tiny pockets and the dentist charges for each one like a full cavity so there were like 9 of them. Something outragious like that. We had even referred friends there and I felt bad after they told us they experienced the same with their odd and scam like billing of only telling you what you owe AFTER the procedure. I don't know how they get away with this or what type of arcaic "system" they have that won't tell you any costs before a procedure is done. Now I have this big bill with them that's not itemized. So glad we have a dentist now that tells you before the procedure exactly what you will owe so there are no surprises.
