• We accept and enjoy children of all ages. Good oral health starts with early diagnosis and prevention. We offer sealants, the latest fluoride varnishes, and ongoing hygiene instructions in a low-stress, laid-back atmosphere. Parents are always welcome to observe all treatment visits.
DENTURES AND IMPLANTS
There are many options available to restore patients to high functionality and give them a beautiful smile.
In addition to partial dentures and complete dentures, we offer implant-supported over dentures. These are conventional dentures that “snap on”or attach to implant devices. Great effort and care will be taken to provide the patient with the best possible solution to meet their needs and expectations. All extractions can be performed in the office using local anesthetics, in conjunction with nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and other forms of oral sedation.
Implants are one of the most innovative and advanced ways to replace missing teeth in the mouth. The technology of implants has grown and progressed as the surgeries have become very conventional and the outcomes safe and predictable. Implants can be used to replace a single missing tooth, multiple adjacent teeth (using an implant retained bridge) or a full arch of teeth using an implant- retained and supported- over denture. Simply put, implants are small titanium posts that are placed in the jawbone, which can then have restorations (crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.) attached to them.
SEDATION
It is our goal to make you feel welcome and comfortable in our office, therefore we offer two options for sedation. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) which is breathed in through a mask during a procedure is one option. We also offer oral sedation, which involved the patient taking a pill about one hour before the appointment to achieve a higher level of relaxation during a procedure. Pill sedation can also be combined with nitrous oxide.
ORAL SURGERY
Even though our goal is always to save every tooth possible, this is not always an option. Once a tooth has been deemed non-restorable, it is then important to safely remove the tooth with as little trauma to the surrounding structures as possible, and to keep the patient as comfortable as possible. Our office offers treatment ranging from simple single tooth extractions, surgical removal of heavily broken down and decayed teeth, full mouth extractions in preparation for dentures and most third molar extractions. We offer several oral sedation techniques and/or nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to make the procedure a comfortable experience.
