Services Crowns: a cap that covers the top part of a tooth that has been severely damaged or weakened by decay
Bridges: artificial teeth that bridge a gap between teeth. However, they cannot be removed because the bridge is anchored to healthy teeth on either side of the gap.
Dentures: removable sets of artificial teeth that replace some, or all of teeth in a jaw
Cavities / Fillings: a common type of treatment for repairing and restoring teeth. After the decay is removed, a dentist fills the hole with a tooth-colored resin to prevent further decay or infection.
Root Canals: a procedure in which the nerve of a severely decayed or damaged tooth is removed, the space is disinfected, and then filled
Veneers: a thin shield of porcelain that is used to cover the front surface of the tooth. They are designed as a permanent way to change or enhance the look of stained, chipped, broken, or undesired teeth. Veneers can significantly improve your smile. Implants: a surgical procedure for replacing a missing tooth. A titanium rod or post is surgically inserted into the jaw and afterwards, an artificial tooth is attached to the implant.
Whitening: any treatment used by your dentist to brighten or whiten the color of your teeth. One popular approach is for the dentist to take an impression of your teeth so that a custom fit tray can be made. The tray, which is similar to a mouth guard, is then filled with a bleaching agent and worn for several hours a day. Another approach is for the dentist use a laser light and bleaching agent while you are in his office.
Laser Periodontal Therapy: a laser light is used to gently remove harmful bacteria and diseased tissue from the gum pocket. This allows the body to heal naturally so that the gum pockets improve and the teeth become more stable. The laser is a wonderful tool that will help many patients bring themselves to a more healthy state.
Diagnodent: a laser cavity detection device that is the most accurate cavity detection tool in dentistry today
Air Abrasion: a technique some dentists use to remove tooth decay without a drill.
Nitrous Oxide: N20 is breathed in through a mask and helps the patient relax during a dental procedure
Microdenistry: a new, alternative way to treat decay in teeth. The idea behind this technology is to remove as little of the natural tooth as possible while removing all of the decay.
Digital Xray: a form of x-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film that way less radiation is produced
Panoramic Xray: supplies information about the teeth, upper and lower jawbone, sinuses, and other hard and soft tissues of the head and neck. The panoramic film is contained in a machine that moves around the patient's head.
