I felt a little pressured to buy products, but it wasn't overbearing. Still, I wish they had been a little more professional. They don't really take that extra step to make me feel special. I'm just another client to them. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here.
Dr Eugene Rontal did not introduce himself to a first time patient. He did not tell be before doing invasive procedures. He tried to get some dead cells out of one ear and he poked it so hard that I had to yell to have him stop. Blood drop residue came out later. I was not asked if I wanted a CT scan for sinues, was not asked if I wanted allergy tesing, was not given perscriptions but the office sent the perscriptions to their pharmacy and had them filled. I'm on Medicare and felt as if that gave them carte blanche. I also only like having my perscriptions filled at one place so all my scripts are together as a preventative measure. I cancelled the allergy screening as I have an allergist I've seen for many years. I received the scripts but will have them transferred to my pharmacy. I will not return to this office. One of the biggest concerns I have is that Dr Eugene is too old to do some of the more precise procedures like trying to retrieve skin cells from my ear drum. I'm really thankful he di not poke my ear drum. As we age our dexterity is not what it used to be. I just felt they were too crowded and had a formula for all patients regardless of their needs. Nice workers but I think the work load is too much. It felt like being in a bus/train/airport terminal. I read about this clinic in the newspaper and did not agree with it's point of view.
