I was recently treated by Dr. McCarthy. He is not only an oustanding surgeon, but a doctor who knows how to communicate with people...he answered all of my questions so I understood everything, and has when I needed some extra assurance on how I felt afterwards, he was absolutely wonderful...handling everything with kindness patience and humor. Although my surgery was considered "minor" (appendix), it was also the first time I had been ill and Dr. McCarthy truly was the best I could have asked for.
