I visited this therapist when i was about 15 years old and all he did is drug me and treat me like a human guinea pig. He offered me no help at all and on top of it he said my insurance would not pay for him anymore but if i paid him $150.00 for my last session i would definitely be reimbursed and i never got reimbursed. I am a former cancer patient and someone in my cancer yoga group asked my yoga teacher if she ever heard of Dr. Katz, because she was looking for a good psychiatrist and she screamed "NO! i know a lot of people who have seen him and he is the worst." She had nothing good to say about him and warned this women not to see him. I chimed in I had seen him about 15 yrs ago and he was horrible. He tells you that you have all these disorders and prescribes you tons of meds then he wanted me to try those inhibitors then my parents had it with him they knew nothing he said was true and thought he wa treating me like a guinea pig. I originally went to him for mild ocd and depression but he told me i had more issues making me feel like i was nuts. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!
