Anne Chapas, MD

Dr. Anne Chapas is a New York City-based dermatologist and dermatological surgeon who specializes in laser surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancers, as well as cosmetic procedures. She strives to apply the latest scientific research with a thoughtful human touch to deliver the highest level of patient care.

Dr. Chapas is the Founder and Medical Director of Union Square Laser Dermatology, a state-of-the-art center for medical and cosmetic skin treatments. Dr. Chapas is an internationally known laser and dermatological surgeon, certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University School of Medicine where she directs the senior dermatological surgery clinic and actively supervises the training of medical residents in dermatological surgery.

Dr. Chapas graduated magna cum laude in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and earned an M.D. with honors from Harvard Medical School.
