Dr Macri did my braces long ago. My dentist looked at the x-ray and immediately said "well I can tell you had braces, and that your teeth were moved too fast". I could clearly see that my roots in front teeth were almost non-existent. He showed me how the tapering was on back teeth, but looked cut on front. There is no doubt in his mind that this was due to braces.

My teenage daughter was an orthodontic patient for >2 years when Dr. Macri decided to use a pallet expander. My wife, who was a dental hygienist for 10 years, questioned why he waited until she was almost finished with braces to start the pallet expansion. Dr. Macri seemed annoyed with the question and then avoided conversation.

I had Invisalign braces at the same time my daughter had braces. At the end of the Invisalign process (which I paid for in advance), I asked about additional clear plastic retainers since the ones I had would not last many more months. The dental assistant seemed irritated that I thought the additional retainers were part of the pre paid package.
