They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. I was satisfied with my visit and feel that it was time and money well spent. It made my experience that much more enjoyable. It was obvious that they didn't take any pride in their office's appearance. I don't think that place has ever been cleaned. They seemed like they were using fairly modern treatment methods and procedures, but I'm not really sure. The female doctor was very gentle with my daughter last year. When I called today to ask about my OWN wisdom teeth, the receptionist told me that the medical card dental coverage for those over 21 only covered extractions now, she however was VERY helpful and knowledgable about my wisdom teeth and spoke to me for a good 10 minutes about my options. We will use them in the future for sure.
had root canal done took almost a year to get a crown put on. I got another root canal it took almost another year to get the crown. Then they told me I need to have my tooth removed so I had it partialy removed there then had to go to an oral surgen to have it completly removed. Then they called me two and ahalf months later to say my crown had finally come in after they told me I needed to have my tooth removed. I Had a tooth removed because they didn't have my crown at the time of my scheduled apointment. I called to remind office I had my tooth removed and i don't need the crown the lady was very nice and said she would take care of it. A week and ahalf later another call about my crown had come in and I called them back to talk about the lack of communcation in the facility the lady made it out to be my falt and not to call back and they would not call me anymore they just lost a family of six business do to poor performance.
The chairs in their waiting room weren't the best but they served their purpose and I couldn't complain. I did not feel safe with them at all. I was scared that something was going to go wrong. I wasn't given any sort of payment plan or fee information before they went ahead and scheduled my treatment. I had no idea how much I should expect to pay. They didn't give me any sort of financial information until long after my procedure was already finished. The receptionist are terrible. They are rude and disrespectful! Very Very disrespectful. Dentist leave the business and us as clients get no notification as all. I have had this happen twice. Dr Brown and Dr Bower and mind you we have gone here for years only because we had no other options and Dr. Bower himself was great. They treat people who are on the medical card like complete trash. Like they arent worth their time. We have recently switched dentists and I am extremely happy. They got us in for an appointment within a week! Martin Dental could never do that! Once again they are a terrible place to go and I do not recommend it!
