These people in the Honolulu office at Union Mall were cleaning my wife's teeth and broke a bridge. They told me it was because she had a cavity. Then they tried to charge me for the broken bridge. I took her to another dentist who took an x-ray and said there was no cavity and they could fix the bridge. So these people broke the bridge, lied and said it was a cavity, and tried to stick me with the bill.

On top of this they kept trying to get me to do all kinds of deep cleans and other treatments, that, when I checked with other dentists, was told were unnecessary. They lie to get you to spend money, bottom line. I suggest going anywhere else.

I think the problem with this Union Mall facility is not the dentist but the receptionist. Her name is MONA and she is abrupt and not willing to listen to a patient's concern. She will even hang up on you and not give an option for discussion from a patient. She should quite her job if she doesn't like it. She gives the whole facility at the Union Street mall a bad name. I rated everything POOR because I want the public to read this review. The facility and dentist are okay but if you encounter this front receptionist or phone receptionist, you will be turned off. I've called the other Gentle Dental offices around the state and she is the WORST person I've encountered. She needs to work on her public relation skills. Anyone out there had the same problem as me??
