Stephen J. O'Neil, MD, is a native of Illinois. He obtained his medical degree from Northwestern University and completed a general surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. O’Neil is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. O'Neil has more than 20 years of general surgery experience. His areas of interest include advanced laparoscopic surgery, laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, surgical oncology, colorectal surgery and gallbladder surgery. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and exercising.
