I wrote a review of Nassim's office in November (see below) but their unimaginable callousness is STILL causing me problems today so I decided to elaborate on my previous review. I just found out today when I went to get my daughter her 6 month vaccinations that she is 2 months behind on her shots. Apparently, when we took her in for her 2 month check up in November, Nassim's office didn't tell us that she was due for them. It gets better. The reason they didn't tell us or give them to her is because we were still waiting for her Medicaid to get straightened out (a mistake was made on their end) and I guess they feared they wouldn't get paid. The funny thing is 2 weeks after that, we called to try to get her an appointment with them for the case of thrush that she had and they refused to call Medicaid and get pre-authorization to see her then, even though their doctor had told me at her 2 month check up "hey, it looks like she might be getting thrush but I can't tell for sure. If it gets worse, call back and make her an appt and I'll write her a prescription". I immediately dropped them like a hot potato after that. Someone seriously needs to SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. I wish there was some way other than writing reviews I could safeguard other people from getting messed over by them the same way I have.

THIS OFFICE WAS GOING TO LET MY 5 WEEK DAUGHTER SUFFER IN PAIN WHEN ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS MAKE A SIMPLE PHONE CALL. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID IN TRUSTING THEM!!! When my daughter was born, I hadn't chosen her pediatrician yet. One of the nurses at the hospital suggested Nassim's office. I went ahead and gave them a shot since they were located only a few minutes from my home. BIG MISTAKE. I knew when I took my baby for her 1 week checkup I should have switched then. When I walked into the waiting room for the first time and up to the front desk to sign in, there were an entire FOUR people behind that desk, spread out evenly. The one right in front of me had her nose in some papers. I stood there for about 20 seconds before she even looked up to acknowledge me! And none of the other ladies behind the desk did either! I was absolutely floored and knew then that I should have turned around and walked out... but I figured I'd see how I liked the doctors first. I loved the doctor. No complaints about her. However, you've got to go through the unbelievably RUDE and LAZY front desk staff to get to the doctor. It doesn't stop there, though. When I took my daughter in for her one month check-up, there was apparently an issue with Medicaid, in which when I called after bringing the baby home from the hospital and informed them I had picked a pediatrician, the lady who I talked to didn't put it into the computer correctly (I guess). So they informed me that they couldn't see her because they weren't her assigned pediatrics office. They also informed me that they could call and get pre-authorization from Medicaid to see her, so they did, and she was seen. It was an hour or so wait while they were on the phone with Medicaid but my daughter needed her check-up, so we waited. During that visit, the doctor informed me that it looked like she might be starting to develop thrush, and if it got worse to call and she would write a prescription for medicine. A week later, I was pretty sure she had thrush. I called to make an appt and get the prescription and was told that the changes still hadn't taken effect through Medicaid yet, so they couldn't see me. I called Medicaid and Medicaid told me to call and ask the office to call them and they would once again give them pre-authorization to see her. So I called the office back and asked them to call Medicaid when I was told "We can't do that because we're not guaranteed that Medicaid will pay for it when we do that". When I told them that they just did it for me a week ago, "Well, our policy has changed". Yeah, right. It was all about money and when it boils down to it, they were going to let my 5 week old daughter suffer in pain over a handful of pocket change. My husband asked if we could just pay for the office visit ourselves "No, that would be fraud because you have Medicaid". What? We eventually took her to an urgent care center and got the prescription she needed. And it even gets worse from there. When I called to make her 8 week checkup appt they informed me that they had dismissed my child from their practice due to my husband getting angry with them over the phone because they refused to call Medicaid!! My daughter couldn't even EAT because of the pain and she was SO hungry and all they cared about was missing out on a little money!! I would NEVER recommend these guys to anyone nor would I ever trust them with my child's health or well-being ever again. Or ANY child for that matter!!! Honestly, RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!
