Well, the feedback scores people gave the Dr previously appear totally wrong, as well as their feedback words.

On initial evaluation (I've never seen him before in my life), Dr Heritch spent appropriate time w/ me, listened well... he's not the most personable or "pleasant/cheerful/'caring'" guy in the world (but that could just be that he's serious about his work - I've been that way myself, when I get really focused), but he was definitely conscientious and careful to diagnose correctly, and not jump to premature conclusions. I have a history of Dep/Anx and I believe I have something more going on than that. He listened well to my history of family of origin issues, and meds I've been on and their effectiveness, as based on my perception. He asked about my allergies to meds, and reactions.

I'm a nurse practitioner (who also works psychiatry) and was careful to not describe my complete line of work until late in the appt, since I'd read a lot of negative/questionable feedback on him.

Again, I believe (at this point) that people who have given Dr Heritch low scores, possibly read him wrong, or underestimated his level of concern.

It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. I’ve been to some other psychiatrists that really rushed my appointment, but they didn’t do that here at all. I was able to take as much time as I needed. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. (was quick to try something) another Dr would not even listen in Peoria!
