I went to Gastroenterology Consultants because I had at least two internal grade #1 hemorrhoids and one external grade #4 hemorrhoid. The CRH ORegan System of rubberbands was used. I was told that by my third banding the larger, external hemorrhoid will shrink enough that it can be banded as well. It wasn't, so then I was referred to Unity and had surgery to remove the grade #4 hemorrhoid (and there was still one internal hemorrhoid left to treat as well). Moral of the story - if you have anything other than internal hemorrhoids forget the CRH rubber band process and go straight to a surgeon. You'll save three trips for rubber banding, much time, and money.

I would have no problem giving them a recommendation. If anyone needed a gastroenterologist, I would direct them here. It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster.
