My husband and I were new patients. We went to Bartus because our old dentist went out of network for our insurance. We both had cleanings and x-rays, and I had two cavities filled. The doctor was nice and most of the staff was friendly. Maybe the other dental hygienist there would have been better at cleaning than the one we ended up with (the other seemed friendlier at least). The dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth and my husbands teeth pushed so hard with the polishing tool that it would stop spinning. I think this damaged my enamel or something because, in the 6 months since my cleaning, my teeth have been more sensitive than they've ever been - even using tooth paste for sensitive teeth. I've been getting dental cleanings on a regular basis my whole life and I've never had such a issue with sensitivity after a cleaning. The sensitivity is present in almost all of my teeth, but it's much worse where one of my new fillings is. The doctor said it would be sensitive for a few weeks, but 6 months later I still can hardly chew on that side and everyone is telling me that's not normal. We're currently looking for a new dentist.
