Hands down the best doctor our family has ever experienced, among all specialists and practitioners. We chose her for our newborn because we were certain we want to breastfeed exclusively. Dr. Pager is friendly, kind, witty, patient, and highly professional, and she is very highly respected among hospital staff and other doctors, both for her expertise in pediatrics (she was previously chief of pediatrics at Queens) and especially for her expertise in breastfeeding medicine.

They weren't too happy when I told them that I wanted to get a second opinion, which made me a little nervous. It seemed strange that they wanted to make sure they were the only one involved in my child's treatment. I was amazed by how rude and inconsiderate they were. They did not respect my values and opinions about parenting at all. They made me feel stupid. There definitely appears to be a trend of overbooking clients here. The wait has gotten longer and longer from when I first started seeing them. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. They made no attempt to follow up with me after my appointment. It isn't a big deal, but it does say something about the overall atmosphere of the office.
