I couldn't believe how much pain I experienced after my appointment. I was in agony for days that I know could've been avoided. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. I was in utter agony the whole time they were cleaning my teeth. It was completely unbearable. They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all. It is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list.
as a new patient, i had so many problems just getting an appointment. i was scheduled for june 29th. 2 days before i was called to confirm my appointment. the next day i was called to be told i had no insurance. in addition to the problems with the phone system at this office, they had spelled my name wrong. this was the reason they thought i had no insurance. i was hung up on, heard terrible music while waiting, experienced a continual busy signal and never talked to someone who knew what was going on. even when aetna, and the employer tried to call , they could not get through right away. finally aetna got in touch with the office and i was rescheduled. when i was rescheduled i was put on hold again to check my insurance and was hung up on again. i did not bother to call back. i was again called to confirm my appointment. the day before my appointment, i was called to asked if i could come in a "little earlier". (four hours earlier) we settled for 3 hours earlier! upon my arrival, i was greated and sent to a room by an assistant that did not introduce himself umtil i asked who he was. the woman who took my xrays couldn't get the computer to work and could not find a child xray instrument for me since i have a very small mouth and lots of teeth.Dr. Reichman was very nice and reviewed my meds and meical past. he gave me his diagnosis. i waited at the desk to check out, for another patient who had lots of questions. i was given the dentist's recommendations and asked to schedule my next appointment. i said that i would call later. i was very disappointed in this office. i'm not sure if it's a problem with the phone or if it's a lack of staff training. i have medical background and have taught patient service to health care providers. this might help this office. i'm not sure what my next step will be since i was happy with the dentist but very dissatisfied with the office. thanks for your attention to this matter. mary mcpherson
