Douglas Macko, DMD

I am originally from New York and am a self-employed Dentist serving the greater Connecticut area for over 30 years. After graduation from the University of Pennsylvania with my Doctorate, I moved back to the Tri-State area and taught school at UCONN. I then opened up my practice in Southington Connecticut in 1980 and have been serving the area as well as the underprivileged youth throughout Connecticut for over 30 years!

I have also taken 12 trips to Guatemala and Ecuador treating indigent children. Many of the trips were with a group called Healing the Children and recently with an Ecuadorian Medical Foundation. As a result of my service over the years, I was recently put on the Board of Directors for the Foundation.

HE is the kindest man my son and I have every meet. he is retiring and this made me sad and happy for him. We will never find another dentist and man like this again. now dentist and doctors are about MONEY and not the customer. but dr Macko was about my son and you knew that. He will be missed. other dentist should learn from him!!
