I love Dental Associates! I see Dr. Renzi and he is great. I had not visited a dentist in a few years and when I got insurance Dental Associates was not covered so I went to another dentist in the area. Big mistake! When I started having pain in a tooth that had been filled they ignored me, but I knew something was wrong. I didn't have insurance at the time so I decided I would try calling Dental Associates. Even though I hadn't seen them in years they got me in very quickly. When Dr Renzi determined I may need a root canal because my previous dentist botched a filling he referred me out to an endodontric practice, which was also very professional. Dr Renzi answered all my questions and didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time like the last dentist I had been to. When I went in for my cleaning the hygienist was very nice and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. I love that they have evening and weekend hours so I don't have to take time off from work. I would highly recommend this practice. I will be getting new insurance soon and I will continue to go here even if they are not covered.

This dental practice (Dental Associates in Newtown CT) easily has the *worst* front desk personnel who are neither polite nor diligent in their book-keeping/work. They provided me wrong information that the insurance would cover the services rendered and then actually charged me over 1000 $ for a single visit. They were hardly concerned about losing a patient account when I complained about this huge charge after I was told the insurance would cover the charges. I'm sure the dentists in the practice are not aware of these poor attitudes. I advise against visiting this unprofessional and third-rate office in Newtown CT.‎
