Sunil Gandhi, MD is a fellowship-trained Thoracic Oncologic Surgeon from the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He has been practicing in the Treasure Coast for over 17 years. Dr. Gandhi specializes in the surgical treatment and management of thoracic malignancies, including lung and esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumors, as well as metastatic diseases to the lung. He also has a special interest in the non-surgical treatment of cancer. He uses the CyberKnife® Robotic Radiosurgery System in high-risk patients, as well as, elderly patients with early stage cancer.

Services Dr. Gandhi is involved in basic and translational research focusing on total cancer care. He was a principle investigator for the Treasure Coast’s genetic profiling study with Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. He has also set up a comprehensive lung cancer program in conjunction with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists and pulmonologists. Dr. Gandhi’s Comprehensive Lung Program incudes the entire spectrum from lung cancer screening to multimodality management of thoracic malignancies.
