As soon as I was seated, the dentist's assistant warned me that a lot of patients don't like this dentist's demeanor and that he comes across as rude or abrupt, but that's just the way he talks. I don't care as long as he does his job well, so I didn't think much of it.

He looked at my X-rays and told me I needed one filling immediately, next week at the latest or I'd need a root canal, and 2 other fillings that were less important. When I came back for the one important filling the next week, he was running 1.5hrs behind (I left work early to be there at 3:30 and wasn't seen until 5:00) and then he told me he was going to do one of the smaller fillings instead. I reminded him that he said the other was more important, and he reluctantly agreed that was true and did the bigger filling.

He rushed through the whole thing, left jagged edges on my filling, told me that I should have gotten there earlier (is it MY fault that he was running so late?), and he left a lightly bleeding scratch along the bottom of my chin with one of his instruments and didn't even say anything. I didn't notice until I got to the car because my face was numb, but I did notice the odd looks at the reception desk when I was on my way out. I was too upset at this point to go back in so I just left.

It's possible that everyone else in this office is great, but I'll never go back to find out.
