Dr. Basnight almost killed my Mother. Literally. He botched, BOTCHED the placement of a stent. She was released home from the hospital and became very ill, was readmitted a couple days later. Turns out while home, she had a heart attack CAUSED BY THE GOOD DOCTOR'S STENT PLACEMENT. He totally screwed it up. ALL Hell broke loose and Mom had to have emergency bypass with (thankfully) another surgeon. When Mom was ready to be released Basnight walked right by her in the hallway - avoiding her - she got his attention and asked "what did you do to me"? Basnight just patted her on the hand and kept on walking. Good thing for Basnight I was living out of state at he time or I'd have sued him for malpractice. PLEASE AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. I know of other seniors who've had him and had similar issues.
