I went to Dr. Sidwell for a root canal. I selected him from a list from my insurance with no idea of his ability. I had pain after the root canal, but assumed it was pretty normal. Almost a year later the pain still came and went and then a blister started to form on the gums under the root canal-ed tooth. After consulting with another endodontist, it turns out the root canal was not complete and worse yet a bit of file had broken off the dentist's tool during the root canal and was left in my jaw. The blister that continues to form is from the raging infection that I've harbored for this long. I am told at this point that the tooth is most likely not saveable. I will need the tooth pulled and a bone graft in order to get an implant now. BEWARE!
