This doctor and her nurse, who does much of the good doctor's work, refuse to accept or return phone calls. You must make an appointment for any questions or concerns. If in crisis, you are told to go to the emergency room.
I waited several months for my appointment for a physical exam, after giving the doctor my history. She led me to believe that she would be doing the exams, but the call to confirm my appointment stated it was with her nurse. I thought it was a mistake, so I called the office. They indicated that she had requested the nurse do my exam upon my first visit, however this was not discussed with me. The same thing happened to my husband. When we stated that this was not acceptable to us, we were told that " you people from up north will just have to learn how we do things here." Apparently, the southern people are the chosen ones seen by the doctor. No one on the staff could explain their system for determining who will be seeing what patient. They were also rude and disrespectful.
