I'm going to paste a copy of the email I sent to Dr. Miller's office after the horrible experience I had in his office a couple of weeks ago, for which he accepted no responsibility. The email was sent to his office manager, Shelly Johnson, and follows:

Dear Shelly,

I've been having a lot of pain since my extraction last Wed, and was going to ask Dr. Miller about it when he called on Thurs, but he never called. I finally called his cell on Fri and left voice mail but he never returned my call. I hope that there is no infection because the pain in my jawbone and the gums around the crater is getting worse instead of better.

Dr. Miller was very cool and uncommunicative the other day and I've never had such a painful injection as the one he gave me, that's why I was crying. And he didn't say a word. I jokingly said, 'you're not even sorry,' and he said no I'm not, it had to be done.

I asked him about a dark spot on a tooth, and he came in to look at the X rays and said that it would be foolish not to get a bridge which would include that tooth with the spot. So I thought about it after I got home, tried to figure out how to pay for that bridge before losing two more teeth, and decided that I would go to the school in Pueblo and let them add a tooth to the partial, even though Dr. Miller said it wouldn't last, because maybe I can get a few more miles out of it and concentrate on the other bridge. It took me a year to pay for this partial, and not all that long ago.

Bear with me, I'm getting to the really bad part. I called the dental school on Thursday and made an appt to go in with my partial on Dec 4, so they could add a tooth to it (which they already told me they could do.) Then on Fri, I was getting ready to go somewhere and got the partial out of the container Brandi had put it in and was horrified to discover that Dr. Miller had cut the right side tooth off. He didn't ask me or tell me he was going to do that, he just wasn't talking. Now they can't add a tooth to it. At this stage, I'm thinking that he's the most uncaring dentist I've ever had. He knew I was considering the dental school for the partial because I had already told him about it.

So: He hurt me remorslessly, was rude, called me foolish, didn't call me like he said he was going to on Thurs., and didn't even return my phone call, and messed up my partial so that I couldn't get it fixed anywhere else.

I am traumatized. What is he going to do to help me out of this mess?

I have been visiting Andrew Miller for approximately 5 years, I have spent over $15,000 dollars with him, I gave him business, my wife and a coworker, I have been back to his office for revisits numerous times, for crowns no fitting properly bite issues, crown falling 2 times and crowns cracking 2 times, according to Dr. Miller the crowns cracked due to a bad batch of composite that he received. I recently had a crown replaced and Dr. Miller and apparently he severed the lingual nerve while applying the local anesthetic, Dr Miller referred me to an oral surgeon which I visited and the surgeon informed me that I may need surgery to repair the damage if it can be repaired, I lost my job so now I have no medical insurance so I contacted Dr. Millers office to have them pay for my treatment and Dr. Miller had his office manager call me and tell me that Dr. Miller was not responsible for this action that this is my problem. This is very reckless behavior on Dr. Millers part, he knows this is malpractice and that he should be responsible for it. Where I come from people for the most part have integrity and are responsible for their actions, you cannot go in live making money and screwing people over.
Dr. Miller, you are very irresponsible, you have no integrity, I have no taste in the right side of my mouth and my tongue is numb, I am in pain and going thru hell, I also have a bridge that one tooth cracked and you did not repair (still in warranty)

Dr Miller you lack integrity, you are a poor Dentist and a bad person, I have one word for you KARMA.
