Dr. Ramirez is a typical arrogant inept dentist with a god complex. His lack of care and competence created more problems than he solved. I try to give people a benefit of the doubt, but during the last visit, he finally hit my limit. There is no more doubt left! I will pull the tooth myself if I have to, but I am not coming back!

I always felt rushed and was left with a feeling that they are "processing" the patients as fast as they can get rid of them. Cleaning was consistently poor, but I always asked to check on my implants and always was told that they were fine. Two months after that "fine" assurance one of the implants failed because the bone around it completely rotted. It takes a long time for such a thing to manifest, and it should have been detected during the cleaning, so the failure could have been prevented. It was not! He then refused to clean the site and said I needed a specialist but offered to put another implant in its place... If you are not competent to clean the spot, how in the world can you be competent to place another implant there??? Oh yeah, he can collect a few thousand dollars for an implant, but not much for the cleaning which is absolutely necessary before it can be done! But it's not his problem, he is only there to make money!

He replaced the crown which created a gap between it and the adjacent tooth that he did not pay attention to, and it resulted in that tooth getting infected, now it has to be extracted because a root canal is the worst thing you can do to yourself.

When I was considering doing an extraction of my now infected tooth thanks to his negligence, I asked if he would remove the dental/periodontal ligament. He did not know what it was! And this is supposed to be a professional! When I explained what it was he said it will come out with the tooth and it will NOT, it has to be manually scraped to prevent problems! I wish I could record his outburst of arrogance; it was priceless! I can only imagine the reaction if on top of it I asked about the ozone treatment!

So, thanks to his "care" I now need an extraction and 2 implants, which would cost me over $10,000 with a real dentist, not that I can remotely afford it... And god only knows what else he missed that may be brooding in my mouth and causing even more problems down the line. But why prevent something when you can make so much more money when you let the problems fester?!
