I had my first breast implants at 22 done by Dr. Bass. I paid for them to be under the muscle. Two years later my right one leaked so I thought it was just me, something crazily went wrong (I was 24)., SO, I decided to go back to Dr. Bass, BIG MISTAKE. He told me, oh, it’s fine, I will fix it. This can happen. Like it was NO BIG DEAL. I was so young, I believed him. So I went into surgery AGAIN and he “fixed” the implant. I thought, ok, I can TRUST him. He even did liposuction on me, I genuinely thought it was just a fluke with my body. THEN 3 years after the SAME right implant ruptured AGAIN. I intuitively KNEW something wasn’t right. I made the decision to go to a Board Certified Doctor to correct my right implant for the THIRD time. SMARTEST decision I ever made. When I got out of surgery the doctor said your implants were NEVER under the muscle, that’s why they ruptured so easily twice. I could NOT believe that Dr. Bass would be ok with lying to me on TWO separate occasions that required me to go under, trusting him to do the right thing , spending more money to correct his lies. Truly disgusting to be able to feel okay as a doctor and put someone in their 20’s through that twice. He is NOT trustworthy and I GWU inept regret I didn’t facilitate a lawsuit. If I could give ANY advice, it would be DO NOT HAVE SURGERY WITH DR. BASS. I still can’t believe that he lied straight to my face twice about what he was doing surgically and CHARGED me for both. He should be ashamed of his values as a doctor and should not be practicing. BEWARE.
