I ended up in this office because medicad changed my sons plan and his dr's office doesnt accept the new one.
I cant give any star to this office. When you give a star to a place, you are showing the customer service you received. Nowadays is all about customer service whether is a medical office or not. Everyone likes to be treated right. It's not about going to a doctor seeking their knowledge but also their respect, professionalism, loving and caring which seems to be lost in these days and even more in this office. If I were looking for knowledge, there is too many doctors out there, or for emergencies, there is an emergency department at children's hospital. Consequently, I called medicaid and they changed my son to a new plan his old dr does accept. I dont recommend Dr Carol Da Costa to anyone in this world. Ive read bad comments which I didnt do before going to the office. Also, after I started talking about my bad experience, there is a coincidence that people in the family have experience the same abuse here. Even more, similar to one of the reviews Ive read in this page. So, too many people cant be wrong!!

Im taking my time to let everyone know that if you decide going to Dr. Carol Da Costa be ready to be treated as a "thing" not emotional or personal care, yes she might have 100000 years of experience but lacks love for kids, empathy, charisma, and the skills a doctor should have to deal with children. She just walks into the room and says "Hi take off the shoes and tshirt and put him/her in the table",
dont expect an approach to your son/daughter and Im talking about a 4 year old child, with babies is different but with an older child you need to interact. Expect them to be crying all the time because they wont like her. They wont like her rude, bitter, and serious face. People, if you're a pediatrician which means "kids" please!!! With all your knowledge, SMILE, it doesnt cost a penny!!! OR retirement might be knocking your door. Both, physical and psychological approach play an important role in a medical consultation!

In the contrary, her staff is very professional, attentive, and treat you well. My son behaved extremely good with the nurse who saw him first. He obeyed her commands and even answered OK to them because she was sweet to him. For me this was new; he hadnt behaved so good before. I felt so happy for that and looked at my son with proud until dr da costa showed up and swept my happiness away. I even felt the need to call the nurse to replace Dr Da Costa; she was way more professional. When you work with kids, you need to show them love, spend some time trying to distract them; use some psychology so they can relax and cooperate.

It's not that you feel like you deserve the world but when your son is sick or you go to a medical office, you expect support and caring, you will love when they treat you like that, recommend the place to everyone, and you'll come back next time. I dared to let her know my feelings and she said "if You dont like me, you know you are free to find another doctor". She's the kinda "whatever" person instead of making you feel comfortable or fix any mistake up, does she just let you leave? I mean, it must be so hard for her to be nice. There were so many things I would have loved to tell this lady but I just shook my head assured of that I wont, for any reason, come back to this place again. I included her in my prayers that day because shame is all you feel when you encounter people like this; they must have gone through rough and tough.
PS: you cant leave a review without a rating! Thats why im giving 1 star. They need to set a 0 star option for places like this one. If it were by me, I would have given none but a big zero!!!

This Dr.told my little daughter that she was fat and unhealthy. My daughter is not fat at all, she is a normal weight 6 year old. My baby came home crying and saying she is fat. How dare she do this to my daughter. Who in their right mind calls a little girl fat in their face, especially a Dr, I will make sure to let everyone know about this Quack.
Save your child tears if they are 3 pounds over weight,
