Dr Urban performed my lasik surgery over 20 years ago. It went smoothly, quickly and painlessly. At the time, it was super affordable and the staff was first class. I'll definitely be scheduling a consult for an enhancement soon!

A serious complication has occured after a LASIK surgery he did many years ago and he has not admitted it nor explained it to the patient (post-LASIK ectasia); ended up moving to another place to another practice and disappeared from the patient. Patients should be screened carefully to avoid complications; if they were to occur, they should be informed and given options for further treatment. Dr. Urban has not disclosed the information even though he clearly knew that the patient had developed ectasia, knowing that his vision will become worse in time. The patient had no idea what was happening until he found that his vision was deteriorating years after and had gone to another ophthalmologist. This is simply not acceptable. This person should not be practicing medicine.
