I did not find him to be at all supportive or understanding. I feel that he relies primarily on treatment with drugs, and does not take the time to properly monitor the effects of the drugs or to get to know the patient well enough to determine if therapy would help. I saw him for depression, and every time I left his office, I would break down in tears as soon as I got back to my car. The last time I saw him, the session was terrible and I felt that he didn't like me. I was having side effects from the prescribed drugs that I knew I should tell him about, but I couldn't bear the thought of calling him to discuss the side effects.

I was lucky and found a much better doctor quickly and she changed the medication right away. I'd steer friends away from him, particularly women, because he's pretty sexist.

Do not see this doctor. He is a complete hack. He lacks professionalism and insight. Panders to patients and has violated patient confidentiality on multiple occasions. He should be reported to DC authorities.
