Considering I was paying out of pocket, it was pretty much a complete waste of $70. Doctor basically said nothing. Told me I'd be fine. $70 later I still have a big red spot on my head and I should probably go see another dermatologist. Dr. Weiss's advice: grow your hair out and it will cover the redness... That doesn't help me and I certainly didn't need to consult a professional to hear that.

Dr. Weiss is a no nonsense guy so if you want a smiley guy, go elsewhere. If you want a Dr. who is smart, knows exactly what something is, gets you better, go here. I have seen him for yrs, since I was a teen. I take my kids here with eczema and any other skin issue I ever see. I have read reviews he is mean and just wants money. I disagree. As a young adult, I happened to call on a saturday and was amazed he was in. He just happened to be getting his mail and answered the phone. I was able to come into his office on a normal day off., I was impressed by that. If you can get past his no nonsense demeanor, he's actually nice and funny. He's professional too. I had a bump on my shoulder and as I pulled down my shirt at the neckline, just to show him the bump, not thinking anything of it, he immediately stopped me to get a female employee in the room. I thought that was professional and a smart move. LIsten, bottom line, if you want to see a Dr that knows his profession, Dr Weiss is IT. Oh, one thing, there is always a wait in his office so don't be pressed for time when you make your appt.
