Frankly I don't have much first-hand knowledge of Dr Mata's medical skill because her responsiveness and attention is so poor I haven't seen her work much with my mother. I can tell you that if you're looking for information and advice, if you're looking for someone to be involved with your health, if your looking for someone to listen and pay attention then you better steer clear of this doctor. I'm managing my elderly mother's health care, and on *repeated* occasions in which other doctors have asked for her medical files or health assessment this doctor has consistently not responded to their requests. I've pulled my mother's files and found a new doctor for her. Maybe she's not interested in geriatric medicine but if that's the case she never took the time to tell us.
