Not good at all! Dr. Kent Azaren had me believing since I consulted him, that he would perform laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. I did my research, and after deciding laparoscopic procedure for my hernia repair was the best way to go; because of its benefits, I decided to hire him as my operating surgeon. Dr. Azaren even told me during consultation about the location of the incisions and how minimally invasive the procedure would be. So, I scheduled my surgery and
only after being admitted into the pre-op room, being shaved off, and having the IV line in my right hand, he stops by to mark the spot of the
operating incision. I asked him there to confirm about the laproscopic procedure, and only until then he tells me he would be perform traditional inguinal hernia repair. Once I had already paid for his initial consultation (which is not cheap), had pre-op lab work done (an additional expense), had scheduled my time off of work, couldn't turn back at that moment, what was I supposed to do? Walk out at that moment? This is not good medical practice from what appears to be a 4+ star (with 3 reviews only) doctor. I recommend that before you into any medical procedure with this or any other doctor, you have in writing what his procedure will be; because to me, it looks Dr. Azaren opted out for the "easy way out". I did not get the type of procedure I came for from Dr. Azaren, and now, I have very limited mobility, excruciating pain, and the swelling is only getting worse by the day. And, by the way, this is not the only doctor I consulted with before my surgery. I opted out for Dr. Azaren because of the laparoscopic procedure. Read on this website and other accessible web places that it specifically says the Dr. Azaren does also perform laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. I guess that even though you pay for what you shopped around for, you do not get it here. The procedure and it's outcome depends solely on Dr. Azaren's taste, not yours.

Their staff was very compassionate and respectful. They made my entire experience even better. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here.
