I would give this dr. a negative star if it was possible. I believe that he has been in this field too long and has become emotionless, insensitive, unethical and in my case, dangerous. This psychiatrist is only for medication and to make a quick buck. If you want to talk, he refers you to a psychologist! Funny because I thought that psychiatrists were suppose to help you get rid of panic attacks, anxiety attacks, phobias by finding out the root of the problem and give medication if needed. NOT the case. I saw this dr. for 13 years and was on the same medications for years. Besides suffering from several different debilitating mental disorders, i also suffer from several debilitating auto immune diseases and also on medications for these. He only gives 3 refills at a time. When my pharmacy called the office to refill one of my meds he DENIED IT because I had not made my appointment to see him yet (I hadnt even passed 3 months yet). I went frantic because this medication causes terrible withdrawls. Even after quickly calling the office to make my appointment (btw, the front office never answer the phone for any reason. You leave a message and they call you back. if your not home your out of luck) crying to the receptionist to please have the refill called in because i was feeling sick from not having the med., my prescription was still NEVER called in. I was sick from withdrawls for 3 days which caused my other medical problems to flare. I had to have my other specialist/dr. call in a refill for me. After 13 years of paying this man to help me and knowing how I struggle with all my other health problems I was shocked (and livid) that he would do such a terrible thing to me.Never even called me to see what was going on. I still get anxiety thinking about what a horrible thing he did to me. Clearly, he does not care about his patients well being. So sad and pathetic...
