Each time I have visited the office I have waited over thirty minutes in lobby then another 30 minutes in opertory. I have an on going medical condition that needs prompt attention. While Dr. Patel seems to be very caring he is disorganized along with his staff that always seems to be in a state of confusion as to what he wants or what they need to do. Blood tests had been ordered for me which I took care of. When my next visit came up Dr. asked me why I hadn't done them. I told him I did and when he asked one one the office girls they started looking around and suddenly found them. They had received them weeks ago and never bothered to file them or show the Dr. There is a policy called HIPPA which apparently no one has received training in. Discussions regarding other patients care are talked about in front of other people.Now I have been waiting for them to get authorization for an MRI that the Dr, ordered STAT. I have been in extreme pain with my right hip.The girls in the office have informed me several times when I have call to see if authorization from my insurance co has been received that they are working on it.This is day three. Now I have contacted my Insurance co and they tell me nothing has been received from my Dr. When notifying the Dr.s staff of this they were curt and said it is in progress and they would let me know and hung up. Needless to say if you need help from this office urgently you will not receive it.Also there is no way to e-mail this Dr. or office.
