It is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list. My appointments get canceled here a lot. I usually just go to someone else in the area because I can't count on them ever. They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all. They left me completely alone for a long time and I became very nervous. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else.
As was discovered later, I was at risk with a systemic infection plus other medical conditions. Open sores and in almost constant major pain.
Dr. Hantman refused to refer me for ultrasound to insure I had no blood clots that could result in stroke or embolism. Refused to refer to infectious disease specialist or start any treatment himself. Refused any pain medication whatsoever. Although I had appointments, I was always the last to be seen when the office was closed or closing increasing my pain and discomfort. My open sores were dressed improperly with cheap gause over my open sores instead of non-stick which would become imbedded in the sores bleeding even after 30 minutes in the shower trying to remove them. Dr. Hantman just ran up appointments that did nothing for weeks then told me to go somewhere else. I am a well educated biomedical professional whose finance was depleted by hit and run accident. Possibly Dr. Hantman thought I was just another of the poor, minority, Mexican-American, etc. Reminds me of the infamous Tuskegee Study.
