Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently locat ed this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. I couldn't believe how rude and inconsiderate they were. I showed up before their scheduled closing time and they said they were closing. They knew I needed help but they still decided to close early. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome.
Dr. Lawson is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to. I hate to say this but it does matter what city one goes to when they see a doctor. Always check the ratings before sched uling an appointment but I was in a bind and I took a chance which was the biggest mistake of my life. He was rude and did not listen or even care about what was causing my problems. His phone kept going off and he was answering it. All he wanted to do was give me muscle relaxators "somas" and "ultracets". I told him that I was allegeric to somas and that ultracets cause seizures in 10% of the cases. The reason why I know this is because i work for FDA research department. Ultracets are european medication and not USA medication. I told him that I did not want that medicine in a polite way. The rx read 100 somas and 50 ultracets. After I politley told him that I could not take somas because previous experience he ripped up the prescrition in front of me and told me that I should not be telling him what to prescribe myself. All i wanted was medicine not muscule relaxars. I was in so much pain that I was ready to blow up on him but I wanted to be the better person but truthly I could barely move. He is a bastard and I hope for gods sack none of you every have to see him as a doctor. Luckily, I went to Northridge Hostipal and they took care of me. Dr. Lawson wasted two hours of my time and I hope that it doesn't happen to you. In today's times its hard to find a good doctor. Just don't bother with him. I only saw him because i was injured the day before and he was the only person available to see last minitue. I am going to report him to the FDA and medical board liscenes. People like Dr. Lawson should be practicing medicine in Mexico(third world country) where there is no ethic or moral standards. Does this a-hole doctor think I am there to be posined? If anyone does any research online, the proof is there. The only reason why I saw him was because I live close to the area. Do not waste your time, he does not research his prescribign medications. In today's world there is a lot of harmful meds and doctors should not prescribe medicines that have risks when the patient does not want to take a chance of having a seizure. He is incompent and most likely the biggest a-hole I have ever dealt with, the nurses were apologetic and they gave me my copay back. Which is no big deal because they wasted my time.
