Several years ago my wife was in emergency for heart problem. Dr.Sarkaria was the one to attend my wife and gave required treatment. That is how I came to know Dr.Sarkaria.

I take my wife to Dr.Sarkaria - for follow up. I am very impressed with the doctor’s attention to the patient. He takes time to listen, takes enough time to check the patient and advice accordingly. Answer any question I ask and explain that in a simple way that I can understand. Now I have some problem myself and I am consulting with the doctor. Overall I am very happy with the doctor and the office staff.

I can't believe these reviews. I have just had one of the worst experiences with a doctor that I have ever had. My mother had been a patient of Dr. Sarkaria for over 10 years. I was out in California visiting my mother and trying to get her affairs in order as she has dementia. I was taking her to all her doctors or contacting them to see when they would need to see her next. Since I couldn't get a call back from Dr. Sarkaria I first went to her physician who told me one of the prescriptions given by Dr. Sarkaria wasn't necessary so she took her off it as she believed it made her legs swell, and was a poor choice. I asked her to please confer with Dr.Sarkaria as he was the heart doctor. Four days passed and I heard from neither doctor, and my mother's blood pressure was climbing each day. I tried calling Dr. Sarkaris and left yet another message for him to call. I finally received a call back after her physician gave her the prescription back at half the strength as she called Dr. Sarkaris and he didn't answer her either. After a 10 day period, and leaving Ca. for home in Chicago, I called yet again. After three tries I received a call from the receptionist who was so rude, and proceeded to let me know since the physician took the medication away, I should confer with her. I told her he is my mother's heart Dr. and should at the very least talk to his patients power of attorney. I told her this was difficult as I was out of town and would he please call her physician? She told me he tried but didn't reach her and it was her turn to call him now. What? This was the most babyish thing I had ever heard, aside from playing with a patients life. She then proceeded to tell me maybe I should bring my mother to Chicago if I was having such a hard time. I found this inappropriate from a receptionist as well as rude. I told her that by the end of the day I would like a call back from the Dr. and was very assertive. I never received the call, needless to say. Dr. Sarkaria is obviously an very unprofessional Dr., and his receptionist is the perfect fit for him. By the way one star is too much for this Dr.
