I had a detached retina almost a year to the day after I had cataract surgery. I was referred to a doctor in Torrance, who proceeded to perform 4 surgeries on the eye. He was proposing another major surgery and I decided this had to stop. I contacted an agency called Best Doctors, a benefit that my insurance provided to help find the "Best Doctor' in the nation. They referred me to Dr. Lean. I am so fortunate to have found this doctor. He has preformed no further surgeries and the eye is doing just fine!
