At first, I was in love with this office. Deborah is a great Nurse Practitioner, she really spends time with you and takes the time to figure out what's going on. I'm not so happy with Dr. Kratzer himself however. I took my teenage son in for strep throat, who was in so much pain he was crying. Dr. Kratzer had us wait for 40 minutes in the waiting room and then two hours inside the examination room before he came in for a 10 minute exam. Every encounter I've had with Dr. Kratzer, we are waiting forever and he spends very little time with the patient. Also, he does not talk to the patient. He talked to me asking what my son was feeling--my teenage son. I kindly suggested that he ask my son what he was feeling since he was the one who was sick.

And then there's the billing... I've noticed that for the past two years, I am being charged $35 for the nurse to put the little clip on one of my children's finger to check their blood pressure. $35??? Really??? On a recent bill, I was charged $100 for Med Supplies--the only med supplies I received were samples (they said so on the sides of the sample) and two of the three were expired.

I am changing doctors. As much as I like Deborah, it's just not worth the hassle.

Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. They are one of the most respected pediatricians in my community. Every parent I know thinks very highly of them. The office was easy enough to find. I appreciated that they allowed me to accompany my child, and didn't make me wait in the waiting room. It's always made me nervous when I wasn't allowed to be with my child at other places. One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help.
