Dr. Opechowski,
Please don't think for a moment that I did not appreciate what you tried to do for me. I just don't think that the setting was a good match for me. I'm really not suicidal. What I said was taken out of context. I merely stated that, if I we're to continue on this course of abuse, that it would kill me. Not wishful thinking. Quite frankly, when at HAVEN, I thought of myself as being in jail. I needed some fresh air, or at least a gym. Many of the staff were helpful, yet some treated patients egregiously. Some of the staff, would, say for instance "teach" on a topic such as "Mindfulness", only to read from a text. She didn't know mindfulness from a hole in the ground. I ended up teaching the patients a mindfulness meditation.
One other thing, your approach of a shotgun approach to everything I have been on, such as Tramadol, which is much safer than NSAIDS, and Klonopin for panic disorder, both of which I have been on for decades, I feel was a mistake. My intention was to get off of alcohol. One step forward, two steps backwards.

I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. The chairs in their waiting room were definitely above average. I was comfortable. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule.
