This doctor saw me in the hospital ICU, so was not chosen by me. I do feel he is competent and working to provide me with the best care possible. I have followed up with him after the hospital stay, but may change to a provider closer to my home for long term care. His staff has been very courteous, and even stayed late one Friday to help me through a prescription crisis so I wouldn't have to go the weekend without my medication.

I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I was hoping that they would be caring and concerned about the situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. It was frustrating that none of my questions were answered and that I left more confused than ever. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. There were no other patients in the watiting room. When I walked back to his office no one else was there except me. I guess I waited for no reason. I feel he refused to provide care when he found out an attorney was involved in my case. He stated to me "you are fine and that is what I will write in your chart". He was nasty, rude and tried to be little me. He also spoke about andother patient on the phone with me in the room. Does he not know what HIPPA is?
