Dr. Valente had told me to keep coming back every six months to a year for an ultra sound as my breasts had so many cysts he said he wouldn't know where to stick the needle.After a year I told him I wasn't comfortable with that and wanted an MRI. He sent me for one in Birmingham and they found stage one cancer in my breast. Then he actually had the nerve to call and tell me that he didn't expect Kirklin Clinic to steal a patient. I told him that I could not have requested a transfer fast enough to get out of his care.
