I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. This provider has no helpful information available online, apart from their address and phone number. They just have a basic listings page. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance.

I am an experienced mother of three wonderful children with the misfortune of having Dr. Sylvester deliver my third child . . . My husband and I PCS'd (military move) to the Huntsville area just about three weeks before our son was due without knowing a single soul here giving us limited information and time to find a suitable OB/GYN, thus entrusting ourselves and our unborn child to Dr. Sylvester, THE WORST OB/GYN that I have ever encountered in my entire life - scratch that, she is THE WORST doctor PERIOD that I have ever had to endure in my life!! She not only sat in the break room of the Huntsville Hospital stuffing her face with a candy bar and coke catching up on her "soaps" while I pushed with the nurses in my delivery room only to show up at the last possible moment to "catch" my son; but she absolutely screwed up my son's circumcision so badly to the point that he is having to undergo surgery under the care of a pediatric urologist at which time he will only be two months old. This really shocked me since she referred to herself as the "circumcision queen" when we asked her of her experience in the area before our son was ever even born. She never even wanted us to schedule an appointment with her to check on his progress; and when we did ask for her to see him AFTER having to rush our newborn to the ER due to complications with the circumcision, she conveniently left the office mere minutes before his scheduled appointment and NEVER rescheduled - just left a nurse to tell us to get a referral from our pediatrician for him to see a pediatric urologist . . . Maybe she knew she had screwed it up already?? . . . If this alone isn't enough to detour you from her horrendous services, might I mention the minimum hour and a half wait time EVERY time you have an appointment only to be rushed in and out as quickly as possible without the slightest bit of concern for any of YOUR own concerns - the staff with the exception of two are among the rudest, most intolerable people on the planet - AND she is NEVER on time for ANYTHING (not just a little late - HOURS late) yet expects the utmost punctuality from her patients as it is stated and written in her policy to cancel your appointment if you aren't 15 minutes early as well as assessing you a $50 charge for cancelling your own appointment less than 24 hours in advance!


If any of this sounds appealing to you or if you are just a gluten for punishment, then by all means, rush out and schedule an appointment with Dr. Sylvester at BABIES ETC OB/GYN PC - even the name of her business should've raised a RED FLAG "babies etc" as if babies are some sort of commodity . . . If you value your dignity and the way you allow a doctor to treat you and your family and you value the outcome of your child's circumcision, PLEASE seek care elsewhere - she is not worth your time nor the risk of complication due to complacency from an arrogant, self-serving, calloused doctor such as Jacqueline Sylvester.
