I have been going to Dr. G for i guess about 15 years (if not more) and have always left completely satisfied. He stays on top of the latest technology. Over 10 years ago when i considered lasic he told me to "wait for it", that for my certain eyesight there was a technology that had just come out and that i was the perfect candidate but he felt it needed to be better tried and true. That surgery when he then sent me to his associate was the best investment i have made in my entire life. And now i continue to see him yearly. My fiance moved down from NY and i insisted that he, too, see him when i go. It's time now for my yearly checkup. I am getting ready to call for my appointment and of course my fiance's as well! I hope Dr. G doesn't retire any time soon because I'd HATE to have to search for another eye doc like him!!

Our family has seen Dr. Gigliotti for over 5 years, and he is a very qualified doctor. When my husband had an emergency with one of his eyes, Dr. Gigliotti saw him right away. He takes his time, and listens to you. Giving a full vision exam. Unfortunately not the same can be said for some of his front office staff. They are unqualified, and make assumptions on health coverage. My husband and I had to call our health insurance to find out the exact coverage we had for this doctor. One of the members of his staff had told us we no longer had certain coverage, and that our insurance coverage had changed since 2010. There were all assumptions based on nothing. She didn't bother to call the insurance company to verify our coverage, and if we had not called, we would have lost additional coverage. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life!! We basically had to do her job, and when we confronted her with the information she didn't even bother to apologize. We will be changing doctors, which is a shame, but we do not want to have to deal with this kind of treatment from a doctors office again.
