Experience The Doctors of Hopewell and Lambertville Eye Associates Eye care is more than a pair of eyeglasses or contact lenses. Eye care is the first step towards preventative and long term health care. There is a great misconception that an eye examination is only required if an individual perceives a difficulty in seeing distant and / or near object(s). (See Home Page Video) Your eye health care starts in the competent hands of our eye doctors and their experience at Hopewell -Lambertville Eye Associates. The process starts with a comprehensive eye exam by one of our optometrist, either Dr. Daniels (Board Certified American Board of Optometry), Dr. Lee- Parma and Dr. Patel, who have extensive training and are academic faculty members of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry as well as being external educators for New England College of Optometry. A quality eye examination performed by the optometric physicians at Hopewell - Lambertville Eye Associates is one that will determine not only the refractive status of the eyes (need for distant or near correction), but more importantly examines the eye for health concerns such a cataracts or glaucoma, cornea and retinal disease. As well, many medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid and infectious diseases, heart and neurological disorders can all have effects on the eyes. It is vitally important to monitor these concerns in an annual eye examination. Our eye doctors, optometrists and ophthalmologists, will utilize the state of the art technology in your eye examination. Theses include instrumentation such as wavefront aberrometry, corneal topography, pachymetry, scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, automated visual fields and so forth to be able to properly diagnosis, manage and treat various eye health conditions. As such, we are also privledged to be a clinical trial site for many pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers giving us the ability to offer the newest technologies in treatment and contact lens such as Wavetouch, Synergeyes, Special Eyes, Novakone, Keratoconus and Post Operative lenses, Bifocal - Multifocal contact lens designs and and many other products to soon come to market such as VMAX and Encepion for LASIK quality vision in eyeglasses.
