Went with both my boys, ages 18 and 8, and Dr. Tannenbaum made them and myself feel comfortable. My teen is just fine but my little guy needs surgery for an undescended testicle. After a little misunderstanding with billing, everything was resolved, no thanks to Obamacare and all the problems it is causing patient and doctor alike. They are friendly, understanding and good to work with, so I recommend them if your child is having any urological issue. He is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, so I'll be back to review that. I just don't want to forget to put in a good word for Dr. Tannenbaum and his staff !!!

Dr. Tennenbaum did my son's Hypospadious Surgery 7 years ago when he was about 4 months old. I couldn't have a Brit because he needed this surgery first, so during the surgery he ended up doing the Brit (Dr. Tennenbaum is also a Moile) and when everything was complete and my son was healed enough we had a baby naming for him. Overall Dr. Tennenbaum is a great Dr. He had helped my family in so many ways and is a true professional. As for the staff, they aren't the nicest (well back then) but they still made you feel comfortable.

My baby had a UTI & it was determined through a VCUG that he had level 2 urinary reflux. Dr. Tannenbaum promptly suggested that he perform a circumcision on my 8 week old son, in his office, using numbing cream!! I got a 2nd opinion, and that doctor strongly recommended that I put the baby on the lowest dose of antibiotics, saying that at this point, circumcision should be a last option, & b/c of his size, if we were to choose that course of action, it should only be done in a hospital.

Although Dr. Tannenbaum also gave us an option of antibiotics, he was definitely steering us toward circumcision. How can I doctor suggest the more radical option on a newborn, and to have it done in the office with just numbing cream?! My son is almost 15 lbs already!

In addtiion to all of this, his bedside manner was the worse. He actually walked into the room & said, "Dr. Steven Tannenbaum here." Are you kidding me? There was no eye contact, much less a handshake.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Tannenbaum, especially if you want to save your son from being cut.
