About

Robert A Eterno, DPM

The Doctor of Podiatric Medicine is the only specialist trained exclusively to provide medical care for the human foot. A podiastrist treats many types of foot problems and employs non-invasive as well as surgical methods. These conditions include:
*ORTHOPEDIC
Because feet are such complex structures, they are subject to mechanical problems such as: bunions, hammertoes, heel pain/spurs, painful metatarsals, flat feet, nerve entrapment, sprains, strains, tendonitis and fractures.
*SPORTS MEDICINE
Podiatric physicians are trained in the management of athletic injuries related too fauly foot function and trauma. Abnormal foot function can cause shin splints, stress fractures, heel pain, runner's knee and other lower extremity problems.
*PEDIATRIC
The best time to deal with foot problems that may cause a lifetime of discomfort is as the child develops. Podiatrists can correct potentially disabling conditions so that foot discoomfort may be avoided later in life. Many abnormal walking patterns originate in the foot and can be controlled by in-shoe devices.
*SKIN & NAILS
Common problems treated include: athlete's foot, fungus nails, ingrown toemails, infections, painful calluses, warts (viral inections often confused with calluses) and corns.
*DIABETIC
If you are a diabetic, you many have poor circulation and perhaps a condition called neuropathy which causes lack of feeling in the feet, making you especially susceptible to injuries and infections that could be very dangerous. It is essential that you make regular visits to a podiatrist for examination, routine foot care and prompt treatment of any foot problems.

Very knowledgable. However little personality or concern. Ingrown toe nail removal may be been clinically acceptable left them looking poorly.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff was friendly enough. I felt like my needs were mostly met. The office was easy to locate with directions. I have recommended this doctor to others since my visit. He seems to understand and athletes mentality as he practices physical fitness and running .
